Blackout Poetry Workshop for Adult+Child (9+)

By working with someone else's words in a book, magazine, or newspaper, you can find new poems, new stories, new art by blacking out the words you don't need! Students will go home with illustrated poem[s], a paperback journal for capturing future poems, and a refreshed creative confidence! No poetry experience is required for this class, and all materials [texts, markers, pencils, paints, crayons, collage papers, glue] will be provided for use in class, but feel free to bring your own favorite materials.
